How to do a cable chain stitch
Step 1.
Start by making a chain stitch
Step 2.
Bring the needle to the right of the stitch under the thread. Wrap the thread once over the needle from right and  bring it under the needle to the left and immediately make another chain stitch. This will create a cable between the stitches
Step 3.
Anchor the last loop with a straight stitch
